Straffe Sites, a service of Fushia bv, takes your privacy seriously and handles personal data transparently. This privacy policy explains what we process, why we process it, how long we keep it, and what your rights are.

Who processes your data

When you contact us through the contact form or by email, we process the information you provide, such as your name, company, email address, and message. We use it to answer your request and, where relevant, to take steps before entering into a contract. The legal basis is those pre-contractual steps or our legitimate interest in handling business inquiries.

How we handle your data

We keep contact details only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship. If the law requires us to retain records, we keep them for the required period. Formcarry processes contact-form submissions on our behalf. Each submission includes the page of our site where you sent the form. Apart from processors acting on our instructions, we do not disclose your data to third parties unless legally required.

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. Access to personal data is limited to people and processors who need it for the purposes described above.

This website uses Plausible Analytics to measure aggregate traffic without tracking cookies. Plausible processes limited request data to produce those statistics but does not store IP addresses or use persistent identifiers.

Free SEO audit

For the free SEO audit, we process your email address and the URL you enter. We use them to run the audit and make the report available to you. We also use them to enforce the limit of ten audits per email address and to slow down abuse from a single connection. We do not use them to send you newsletters or ads.

If you also check the separate box that we may contact you, Seppe may email you personally about your audit. Without that box checked, we do not contact you. You can withdraw that consent at any time. The legal basis is the consent you give in the form.

The audit runs on our own server at OVHcloud in London (United Kingdom). The European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision for the United Kingdom, so your data gets a level of protection equivalent to that in the EU. The content of the public page is sent to Anthropic (Claude API) to write the report; your email address is not. You download the report yourself; we do not email it.

We receive a notification through Formcarry. It contains your email address, the URL, the page of our site where you started the audit, your contact choice, the score, and the report. Formcarry processes that notification on our behalf and keeps it according to its own retention period.

We delete the report, the URL, and your email address from our server after 30 days. For the limit, we only keep an irreversible hash of your email address and IP address, with the date and score of the audit.

Cookies and Google Ads

On your first visit, a cookie banner asks whether you allow analytics and marketing cookies. Without your consent, we do not load any Google tag and send no data to Google. We store your choice locally in your browser (localStorage), so we do not have to ask again.

If you consent to marketing, we load Google Ads (gtag.js) from Google Ireland Ltd. We use it to measure whether an ad leads to a contact request. Google may set cookies such as _gcl_au for this purpose. When you send a request through the contact form, we only send a conversion signal, without your name, email address, or message. The legal basis is your consent. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area under appropriate safeguards.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time in the cookie settings. You can also use the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we delete the Google cookies that we can remove.

Your rights and questions

You have the right to:

  • access your personal data;
  • correct your personal data;
  • delete your personal data.

Depending on the circumstances, you may also:

  • request restricted processing;
  • request data portability;
  • object to processing.

You may also file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
