One guitar teacher in a city full of music schools

Ben Boeckx has been teaching private, duo and group guitar lessons in Antwerp and Wilrijk for years, from beginners to advanced players. But anyone searching for guitar lessons in Antwerp mostly finds large music schools and lesson platforms — not the personal lessons of an independent teacher.

So the website was never meant to be a lesson site with course packages. It had to be a place that gets found: ranking for local searches like guitar lessons and private guitar lessons, presenting the private, duo and group lessons clearly, and guiding visitors to a free introduction. And it had to do that bilingually, because Antwerp has many international families searching for guitar lessons in English.

Every result claim has to be verifiable too: Search Console only keeps final data for a limited window, so the numbers in this case run from April 2025 — the full period Google can still prove today.

“Whoever searches for guitar lessons in Antwerp decides on page one of Google — that is where the teacher needs to be.”

Search intent, lesson formats and language as structure

Technology helps people choose. It doesn’t try to take center stage.

  1. 01

    Search intents as pages

Every real search gets its own route: guitar lessons in Antwerp and private lessons on the homepage, learning to play guitar, beginners, children, adults and electric guitar as dedicated pages that each answer exactly one question.

  2. 02

    Bilingual with separate routes

Dutch pages live at the root, English pages under /en, connected through hreflang. A search for guitar lessons in Antwerp lands just as well as a Dutch one — without letting the homepage speak two languages at once.

  3. 03

Technology that stays out of the way

Static Astro pages on a CDN, measured monthly at 100/100 mobile Performance, with LocalBusiness and review schema that also passes Ben's visible Google review score to the search engine.

Measuring the result with real data

Monthly PageSpeed and final Search Console data show how performance changes over time. The summary card uses the latest measured month; the chart compares Performance scores with organic clicks.

A locally findable guitar teacher, measured honestly

  1. Light technical foundation

Static Astro pages served from a CDN; monthly measurements consistently sit at 100/100 mobile Performance.

  2. Page one in Antwerp

Gitaarles Wilrijk ranks at the very top, gitaarles and gitaarlessen Antwerpen on page one, and the name Ben Boeckx at position one.

  3. More than double the visibility

From June to August 2026 the site drew more than twice as many impressions as a year earlier: 45,421 versus 22,487. Clicks grew along, from 287 to 343 in the same period. For as far back as Google keeps final data, the site counts 1,852 clicks on 156,869 impressions since April 2025.

  4. Measurements are the next layer

PageSpeed and GSC have separate roles in assessing speed and organic reach.
